Miss Risque

A collaboration between Clod Ensemble and Split Britches.

Miss Risque is a story of secrets and showgirls. It’s a code written on the back of a calling card, delivered with a bouquet of flowers, overheard in the powder rooms of the Folies–Bergeres. It is a dangerous liaison lurking under the skirts of turn of the century Paris. Performed as Double Agency with It’s a Small House and We Lived in it Always.

"Each piece maintains an admirable balance between cleverly conceived, spirited entertainment and intelligent insight ... thoughtfully choreographed work that is splendidly enhanced by the bluesy music of Mr. Clark." The New York Times
